How long are light rail trains?

Wow, I never realized there was such a difference in light rail train sizes! A 23-meter train feels pretty standard, like what I’d see in my city. But close to 30 meters? Thats practically a small apartment building on wheels! Its crazy to think how many more people can squeeze into those longer articulated trains. I’d much rather be on a less crowded shorter one, even if it means waiting a little longer.

How long are light rail trains, anyway? Seriously, I was blown away when I started looking into this. I mean, a 23-meter train? That seems pretty normal to me – that’s about what we have here, and sometimes I feel packed like sardines even then! But then I saw some that are close to 30 meters long… whoa. That’s like, a tiny house on tracks! It’s just crazy the difference in capacity. I bet you could fit, what, maybe double the people? Maybe even more? Ugh, I can just imagine the crush of bodies. Give me a shorter, less crowded train any day, even if it means waiting another five minutes. Remember that time I was on that packed train going home after the concert? My ribs still ache thinking about it. No thanks. I’d rather have a little more personal space, you know? Even if it means a slightly longer wait.
