What pollutes the earth more?

Fossil fuel combustion for electricity and heat generation is the primary polluter of Earth. It causes about 75% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Even with the rise of renewable energy, many countries still rely on coal-fired power plants, which release significant amounts of harmful pollutants and carbon dioxide.

What are the leading causes of global environmental pollution?

Honestly, it feels like burning fossil fuels is the big one, you know? That whole thing about electricity and heat, it's responsible for, like, three-quarters of the greenhouse gases we're pumping out.

Even with all the solar panels and windmills popping up, there are still these old coal plants chugging away everywhere, spewing out nasty stuff and CO2. It's weird, right?

I remember seeing one once, a huge stack, probably back in 2018 near that town by the coast, it just looked so…industrial. You could almost feel the air get heavier.

So yeah, that combustion thing, for power and warmth, that’s the main culprit, from what I gather. It's a huge chunk of the problem, really.
