How does my personal information get revealed? Ugh, it seriously freaks me out! It's like, I have to give out my address and credit card number to order that cute vintage lamp online – it's the price we pay for convenience, isn't it? But the thought of all that data just floating around out there, vulnerable to some random hacker… It's terrifying, you know? I mean, I remember that Target breach years ago – millions of people’s info stolen. That was a real wake-up call. And then there was that time my friend had her identity stolen, the hassle she went through… months of paperwork, phone calls, and just pure stress. It makes you feel so exposed, so helpless. Like, what can you really do? It feels like it's only a matter of time before it happens to you, doesn't it? And it's not just big companies, either; even small local businesses can have security breaches. It’s a nightmare. I sometimes think about just going completely offline, living off the grid... but then I remember I need to pay my bills! So... what's a person to do?
