GrabFood Service Fee: How Much Does it Cost?

Ugh, GrabFood fees, right? It’s a total rollercoaster. I swear, last month, 17th of August, ordering from my fave Nasi Lemak place cost me an extra RM6. Six ringgit! For delivery. Ridiculous.

The speed thing? Yeah, they’ve got tiers now. Faster delivery, bigger fee. Makes sense, I guess, but it stings.

Remember that time, October 2nd, I ordered char kway teow? RM12 delivery fee, then another RM2 service fee. The food itself was only RM15! Absolute highway robbery.

So, yeah, no fixed price. It changes constantly. It’s a total mess. Depends on distance, demand, even the delivery rider, maybe. Seriously, who knows?

Reddit threads are flooded with complaints. Everyone’s confused. I am too. It’s frustrating.

Grab needs to be clearer, honestly. I’m avoiding GrabFood more and more because of this unpredictable pricing.

How much is Grab in Vietnam?

Grab in Vietnam? Sigh.

It’s late. I’m thinking about Grab fares. Strange, right?

  • GrabCar (4 seats): VND 11,000 per kilometer. Yeah, seems about right.
  • GrabCar (4 seats): VND 300 per minute. Waiting in traffic near my aunt’s house… kills me.

Ugh.

  • GrabCar Plus (HCM): Minimum fare is VND 30,000 for the first 2 km. Used that once… to go like, nowhere.

Wasted money, probably. Like most things. Hanoi’s probably similar. Wish I was better at saving. No, I’m in Da Nang. It’s different, cheaper maybe.
