Oyster card daily caps are a rip-off! Seriously, £15.20 for zones 1-3? Thats highway robbery! I mean, it depends on your zones, of course, but it feels like theyre designed to squeeze every penny out of you. Even the cheaper daily rates still feel expensive for what is essentially just a tap-and-go card. Id rather just buy a single ticket if Im only traveling for a day unless Im going to be using it a lot.

Unless I'm absolutely sure I'm going to be hopping on and off the tube all day long, I usually just buy a single ticket. Seems less painful somehow, you know?
