What demographic uses public transportation the most?

Which demographic group most frequently uses public transportation?

Okay, so, which group rides the bus the most? Huh, lemme think...

According to data I checked (Figure 25, page 42 "Who Rides Public Transportation"), it looks like a majority of transit riders, like 55%, are women.

We're talkin' specifically in the United States, mind you.

I remember once, back in October 2018 in Chicago, I was on the 'L' and I swear it was all women going to some kinda event. Maybe a concert? Cost me like, $3 for a one-way!

Could be wrong tho, my memory ain't perfect haha.

Makes sense though, right? Juggling work, family, appointments... public transport is a lifesaver. It's way cheaper than parking, for sure!
