What is the safest age for a baby to fly?

Honestly, the idea of flying with a newborn terrified me! While airlines might let you fly a two-day-old, Id strongly advise waiting until theyre at least two or three months old. Their immune systems are so fragile, and airports are germ factories. The risk of illness just isnt worth it for that little one. Better to wait a bit and make the trip smoother and safer for everyone.

Is there a best age to fly with a tiny human? Ugh, just thinking about it brings back memories… I was so nervous flying with my little one the first time! I mean, sure, airlines often let you fly with practically a newborn, like two days old?! But seriously, would you want to do that? I waited until my daughter was about three months old. It just felt… safer, you know? Those first few months, their immune systems are still developing, right? And airports? Don’t even get me started. They’re like giant petri dishes! I remember once seeing a guy cough directly onto the baggage carousel handle… shudders. Anyway, that’s why I waited. It felt like less of a risk, at least health-wise. Plus, by three months, she had a bit more of a routine, so the whole travel experience, while still chaotic, wasn’t quite as overwhelming. Just my two cents, but honestly, waiting a bit makes the whole ordeal so much easier, for baby and for you. Trust me on this one.
