Hoi An in a Day: Is it Possible to See the Highlights?
Crazy, right? One day in Hoi An? I did it, last July 18th. Felt rushed, totally.
Landed in Da Nang (DAD), taxi to Hoi An cost around 400,000 VND. Forty-five minutes? More like an hour. Traffic’s nuts.
Ancient Town was gorgeous. Japanese Covered Bridge? Picture perfect, cliché but true. Phuc Kien Assembly Hall was cool, intricate details. Didn’t get to everything though.
River boat trip at sunset was amazing. Dinner afterwards? Delicious, cheap, but I needed more time. So much to explore.
Short answer: Yes, possible. But it’s a whirlwind. More time is better.
One day trip to Hoi An feasible. Transportation: Taxi/Bus from Da Nang (DAD). Highlights: Ancient Town, Japanese Bridge, Assembly Halls. River cruise recommended.
