Can you have two phone numbers on one Uber account?
Okay, so you're wondering if you can have two phone numbers on one Uber account, right? I totally get it! It's annoying, isn't it? Uber really doesn't make it easy. I remember one time I wanted to use my work phone for Uber when I was expensing a ride, and then switch back to my personal number later... such a hassle!
The short answer is, well, no, not really. Uber just doesn't let you directly add multiple numbers to one account. Bummer, I know. I wish they would!
What I've found, and what most people end up doing, is creating a separate Uber account for each phone number. It's kind of a pain, having to manage two different profiles, especially when you just want to hop in a car. But honestly, it's usually the easiest workaround.
Think about it: you'd have to log out of one account and into the other every time you wanted to switch numbers...ugh, nobody wants to do that while they're standing on the curb trying to catch a ride, right?
So yeah, while it's not ideal, creating a second account is probably your best bet. I'm really hoping Uber adds a feature for this someday... wouldn't that be amazing? Until then, guess we're stuck with the double account shuffle!
