How much laundry is 7kg?
Seven kilos of laundry? Wow, that's a lot, isn't it? I mean, for me, that's easily a week's worth of clothes – maybe even a bit more if I've been particularly messy, which, let's be honest, happens. I tried to figure it out once, you know, like, "how many t-shirts is that?" I'd guesstimate around 35, maybe more if they're thinner cotton ones. Definitely less if we're talking about those thick, heavy band t-shirts I love. Remember that time I tried to cram ALL my jeans in for one wash? Disaster. The machine was groaning!
A double duvet? Yeah, that's a big one. Definitely takes up a good chunk of space. Perfect for a small family or a couple, I guess. Makes sense, right? My machine? It’s a smaller one, which is fine usually, but sometimes…oh man, sometimes I wish I had a monster machine. Those bulky winter blankets? Forget about it! It's always a two-wash job, and even then I end up wringing them out like a dishrag to get them less soggy. Maybe someday I'll upgrade. But for now, seven kilos… that's a serious laundry day.
