Are wireless chargers TSA approved?
Okay, so from what I understand, the TSAs cool with wireless chargers in your carry-on. Personally, Id be a nervous wreck putting it in checked baggage anyway! Knowing my luck, it would get damaged or lost. The FAAs backing this up too, saying lithium-ion batteries need to be with you on the plane. Its a relief, honestly, because I depend on those things to keep my phone alive on long trips and I would be so stressed if I couldnt bring it.
Ugh, wireless chargers and TSA, right? It’s always a little nerve-wracking trying to figure out what you can and can’t bring. But yeah, from everything I’ve seen and read, you’re totally fine to bring a wireless charger in your carry-on. Whew! Can you imagine having to pack it in your checked bag? I’d be terrified it’d get smashed or, worse, lost forever! Like, what would I do then? My phone would be dead within two hours, I swear.
I remember this one time, flying to visit my sister in California… the flight was delayed, and delayed, and delayed. My phone was already at like 20% when we finally boarded, and if I hadn’t had my wireless charger, I would’ve been completely cut off from the world. And who knows how long I would’ve had to wait for a charger at the airport, you know? It’s just such a lifesaver.
Plus, the FAA (you know, the Federal Aviation Administration, the big guys) even says lithium-ion batteries (which is what powers most of these chargers) should be in the cabin with you. Makes sense, right? Something about safety. So yeah, don’t worry. Bring your charger. You’ll be fine. Believe me, I’ve been there! I’d practically be lost without mine!
