Hoi An doesn't actually HAVE a train station, which is, like, super annoying, right?
The closest you'll get by rail is Da Nang or Tam Ky. I remeber my last trip to vietnam i had to go thru this hassel.
From there, you are stuck with taxis or ride-sharing, and i found it kinda pricey. I used grab for convenience, i think it cost me around 300.000 vnd from da nang to Hoi An on 15 Dec 2023.
Its kind of a pain, tbh. Wish there was a straight shot!

Anyway, focusing on taxis, their presence underscores Hoi An's commitment to tourism. It's a bit like how Parisian cafes define Paris.

Grab Hoi An to Da Nang? 200,000-350,000 VND. Eight to fifteen US dollars. Check the app. Always.
