Nearest Airport to Ninh Binh, Vietnam?

Okay, here’s my take on getting to Ninh Binh!

Ninh Binh’s Nearest Airport: Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) serves as the primary airport for accessing Ninh Binh.

So, I wanna visit Ninh Binh someday. Like, really soon, maybe even next year, 2025? And I was checking out how to get there… seems flying into Hanoi is the ticket.

It seems Hanoi’s Noi Bai airport is the way to go! Makes sense, considering the distance, I guess. Plus, Hanoi is cool too, right? Double win!

Easy connections, lots of flight chocies mean travelling easy to Ninh Binh, or so they say. I just hope it ain’t too expensiv, ya know? Plane ticket prices are crazzee lately. I want to find a great deal!!!

I’m thinking, fly into HAN. Then either take a train or maybe hire a private driver down to Ninh Binh. I heard the train ride is pretty scenic. Either way, can’t wait! I’ll let ya know how it goes, when I go! 🙂

How much is taxi from Hanoi to Ninh Binh?

Holy moly, Hanoi to Ninh Binh by taxi? That’ll cost you a king’s ransom! Or, at least, a decent-sized pile of Vietnamese dong. Think, like, a small elephant’s worth of cash.

1,380,000 VND, minimum. That’s about $60 USD, but hey, you could buy a small pony for that! Maybe not a fancy pony, but a serviceable, maybe slightly grumpy pony.

Why so expensive? Because taxis are, shall we say, less than thrilled about that drive. It’s a long haul; they’re basically charging you for the therapy they’ll need afterward.

  • Distance: It’s a trek, people. Not a quick hop, skip, and a jump. More like a hop, a skip, a long jog, a brief power nap, and then a final sprint. My Uncle David tried it once. He swears he saw a unicorn, or maybe it was just the heat.
  • Fuel costs: Gas ain’t cheap, especially when you’re covering ground like you’re escaping a swarm of angry bees. (My neighbor swears this is factual).
  • Driver’s sanity: Seriously, consider the emotional toll. You wouldn’t believe the traffic. Think rush hour in New York City but with motorbikes. Times ten.
  • The sheer audacity of it all: Charging that much for a taxi ride is almost criminal, but in a strangely captivating way. Kinda like watching a squirrel hoard acorns.

Consider other options, like a private car (much cheaper), or maybe hitchhiking. Just kidding about the hitchhiking. Unless you’re into that sort of thing, then carry on! Don’t forget your lucky charm. You might need it.

Where is Ninh Van Bay located?

Ninh Van Bay? Tucked away like a secret stash of candy on the Hon Meo Peninsula. Think Vietnam, Khanh Hoa Province to be exact. Like, seriously remote. More secluded than my Uncle Jerry after he “won” that chili cook-off. Khanh Hoa Province. It’s south-central Vietnam, coast vibes. Got beaches like powdered sugar, and water so clear, makes bottled stuff look murky. Good luck finding Uncle Jerry though.

  • Hon Meo Peninsula: Like a cat’s whisker, sticking out into the East Sea. Dramatic cliffs, bam! Hidden coves. Double bam!
  • Khanh Hoa Province: Nha Trang is the capital, kinda like the popular kid in school. Ninh Van Bay? The mysterious exchange student. Way cooler.
  • Vietnam: Southeast Asia, obviously. Known for pho, banh mi, and now, apparently, hiding my chili-loving Uncle Jerry. Still haven’t forgiven him.

Okay, wait, gotta add, this place is fancy-pants resort territory. Think overwater bungalows. Infinity pools that seem to spill into the ocean. That kind of jazz. You know. My cousin Vinny went there. Said he saw Brad Pitt. Doubt it. Vinny also says he’s a direct descendant of Genghis Khan.
