Okay, so, most luxurious train, huh? That’s a tough one.
The Belmond Andean Explorer often pops up. Think Peru, Andes Mountains, fancy cabins, and, like, super-good food. People seem to love it.
I haven’t personally been, but a friend, Maria, went last year (October 2023, I think?). She said the views were insane. Like, postcard material, you know?
There’s also the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, real classic, and Rovos Rail in Africa. I mean, depends on what kinda luxurious you’re after, right?
Heard the Andean Explorer can set you back a fair bit. Maybe USD 5,000+ per person? Oof. One day though, right?

My 2024 Goa trip cost half. 3E all the way. No regrets. Different priorities. Time is money. Money buys berths. Berths buy sleep. Sleep is peace. Profit margins. Railways gotta eat too. Supply and demand. Basic physics. More supply, lower price. The universe doesn’t care. Neither do I.
