GST turnover limit for freelancers? Ugh, that's the thing, isn't it? The looming GST monster! Honestly, it makes my head spin just thinking about it. Luckily, I'm okay… for now. I'm nowhere near that ₹20 lakh threshold (or ₹10 lakh in some states – imagine, like Himachal Pradesh! Good for them). Seriously though, it's such a weight off my shoulders not having to deal with it yet. I can just, you know, work. Create. Not get bogged down in paperwork hell. Which, let's be real, is a huge win.

But, you know what? It's always in the back of my mind. Like, what if I do hit it someday? All that lovely income, whether it comes from a client down the street or halfway across the world, it all adds up. A friend of mine, she's a graphic designer, she hit the limit last year. Total surprise! She was thrilled about the earnings, obviously, but then – bam! – GST paperwork avalanche. She was telling me how she spent a whole weekend just figuring it all out. Yikes.
