How much does a Asia tour cost?
How much does an Asia tour cost? Seriously, I've been trying to figure this out! It's all over the place, isn't it? I saw prices ranging from, like, a ridiculously cheap $10 a day – which, honestly, sounds almost too good to be true – all the way up to a mind-boggling $75,000! Seventy-five thousand dollars?! That's more than my car payment for, like, three years! Ugh, I'd love to find something closer to that ten bucks a day, maybe splurging a little bit here and there, you know?
But seventy-five grand? That's a down payment on a house in some places! It's kind of infuriating to see that kind of difference. I mean, I get it, luxury travel is a thing. But still! It's such a HUGE range. My cousin went backpacking through Southeast Asia for a month and spent maybe, what, $2000 total? Including flights. That's more realistic for me, I think. He mostly ate street food, stayed in hostels, and took overnight buses instead of flying – totally different experience, but way more affordable. Then you see those fancy brochures with private villas and personal butlers… Sheesh. It really just depends on what you’re looking for, I guess. It makes planning this trip feel so overwhelming! So many options!
